Searching For A World That Doesn't Exist

"Whatever you do, at the crossroads, don't turn left.
Don't be fooled. It's listening
You can't outsmart it
It's listening to me
It's watching me it isn't from this world

Characters

D3rLord3

Derek (DerLord3)

Role: The First Explorer / The Catalyst.

Bio: The original owner of the laptop who first uncovered the world’s secrets. Highly analytical, he used ciphers and logical deduction to navigate the tunnel maze and opened the forbidden Yellow Door. Though the cosmic knowledge drove him to madness, he used his final moments of awareness to link the world into a geometric loop, leaving behind the hidden “RUN AVERY” warning.

"If I can't escape with your logic, I'll escape with mine. Because unfortunately for you, while I may be in your world, we're still playing Minecraft. So for all intents and purposes, you're in my domain. At the end of the day, Minecraft is a game."

AveryTheMayo

Avery (AveryTheMayo)

Role: The Protagonist / The Target.

Bio: A regular Minecraft player who boots up an old laptop bought from an abandoned storage locker. Upon discovering a strange, pre-existing single-player world, his rational mind tries to logically test and outsmart the anomalies he encounters. He is ultimately revealed to be a targeted pawn, lured into the depths to serve as a clean physical “vessel” for the entity.

"What am I doing? It's New Year freaking Eve and here I am playing this stupid Minecraft world... God, like, what am I doing with my life?"

King In Yellow (Hastur)

Hastur (King in Yellow)

Role: The Cosmic Entity / The Antagonist.

Bio: An ancient, extra-dimensional force that infected the single-player world after being summoned by a fanatical village cult. It manipulates the environment, breaks the game’s code, and breaks the sanity of anyone who looks at it. Its ultimate goal is to break past the digital confines of the game by completely possessing a real-world host.

"Do you truly believe I would leave the instructions to my ruin in my own domain? The doors are meaningless. There is no power in closing them."
